5 Generations!

Allyson and I took a trip to go see her great-great gramma Crosby today. That's five generations! I am hoping to get a pic of all of us soon, but here she is with her great-great gramma...

Photoshoot with Bailey~

At 5 days old, Allyson had a little photoshoot with Aunt Bailey...they turned out great!

Labor story & extra cell phone pics

Well, my labor was pretty text book. I had my doctor strip my membranes again on the morning of April 8th. I started having contractions literally 10 minutes afterwards...I could barely drive myself home! After a couple hours of sitting at home, my contractions were only three minutes apart. So we checked into the hospital around 3:30pm and I was dilated to a five. An hour later I was dilated to a six and they gave me an epidural. We waited around for a fews hours and I started pushing around 9:45pm. I got a fever from the epidural which made her heart rate skyrocket and right towards the end of my pushing her heart rate dropped really low so they used the little vacuum suction thing on a couple of my pushes to speed up the process. She came an hour later at 10:45pm!

She finally arrived!

Allyson Marie Barney was born April 8, 2010 at 10:45pm weighing in at 9 pounds 7.7 ounces and 21 inches long! We just can't get enough of her:) Here are a couple pics I took with my phone...more pics and labor story to come!

I am very impatient!

Do you see my ticker over there? It says my baby is one day old. It lies!!

So I had a doc appt today...I was dialated to a two so my doc did the 'stripping the membranes' thing (and it REALLY hurt!) so hopefully she comes soon!

Otherwise...the hospital will not let him induce me until I am a week overdue. So I guess the latest she will come is the 13th...

Come on my stubborn child!
