Memorial Weekend

We headed up to SJ on Thursday night and had a nice LONG weekend away from the valley. We went to Ashley's graduation on Friday, fished at Big Lake on Saturday, and rode dirtbikes and had a bonfire at the ranch on Sunday. Here are lots of pics!

It has been so hot lately that we just had to go swimming! So we went to Lake Pleasant with our friends Mika and Briana and our dogs!

Well, we got a text from Bailey at like 11pm on Friday night asking if we wanted to go to the lake...we jumped all over that! Thanks for taking us Chris & Bailey! It was so much fun! Here are some shots!

State Softball

Last Friday we went and watched my sisters and cousins play their state softball game (and my parents and aunts coach!) The girls played very well, but lost in a heartbreaker. I very proud of them though! Way to go girls! Only took a few pics...

Yes, I am complaining again!

So I have just been having the most rotten luck lately! Here the story goes...(the pics do not do it justice!)

1) I find this bite on my ankle (it is HUGE and gross looking) so I figure it must be a spider bite.

2)I then find all these little-red-ITCHY bumps ALL OVER my arms and legs...so at this point I am thinking that I broke out in hives as an allergic reaction to the spider bite.

3) Finally the scary bite on my ankle starts to worry me because it is not getting better and the bites on my arms and legs are also getting worse, so I go to the doctor.

4) So after a $50 co-pay and $20 prescription, the doctor tells me that I don't have a spider bite or hives, but that I have FLEA bites all over me! What the heck? I must have hit a nest or something because I had bites EVERYWHERE! (The big one on my ankle looked bad because I agitated it by scratching the top off it) And Ben didn't have any, so I am assuming I got them while doing yard work the other day (I chopped down our tree) Anyways, the doctor gave me some medicine and anti-itch cream and now it's much better! But with the combination of the damage from the hike (see previous post) and these bites, my poor legs look JACKED now! :( Ok, I'm done complaining :)

Ashley's Prom

Ben had planned to go turkey hunting last weekend so I planned to head up to SJ for the weekend. Ben decided not to go turkey hunting but I said I was still going up SJ anyways! And Ben was a nice husband and accompanied me. Ben did a little fishing with my dad, Eli, and a bunch of the scouts; our dogs had a blast running around everywhere; and I enjoyed seeing all the pretty prom dresses. :) Here are a few pics, ok there are a lot of pics - mostly for those of you who like to see everyone's prom dresses!
