Kenneth Joel Frazier

So, I am totally slackin! I said that I would do a post about each member of my family when they had their birthdays and Joel's is already way passed so I'm making up for it! :) And in case you are wondering, the second pic was taken during the solar car race.

1) He was born on March 8, 1988 in Fountain Valley, CA. He weighed 9 lbs 12 oz!!! (BIG boy!)

2) He is currently serving a mission in the Spokane, WA area, Spanish Speaking!

3) His first name (Kenneth) has been passed down to the oldest son now for 4 generations. (so cool!)

4) He is a very hard worker (he would get up early on a Saturday morning and work around the house without even been asked!)

5) He very good at math (seems to be a dominant trait in our family?)

6) He plans to become a mechanical engineer (like my daddy)

7) He was (and still is) an "angel" child...I do not recall him ever being grounded even once in high school!

8) He is definitely a "hick" and is proud of it.

9) He is such a great example, especially to the younger cousins.

10) Growing up, He and I hardly ever fought (even ask my mom!)

11) He has a kind heart and never judges. He is always willing to be your friend.

12) Even though he is my "younger but bigger" brother, I have always looked up to him and learned from his example. He makes me want to be a better person.
*I miss you BROTHER! (tear, tear) And I love you tons!

My husband is a comedian...

For those of you who have hung around my husband for more than an hour, you know he is quite the jokester. He loves to make people laugh. Well, for Easter he kept asking me what I was getting him because if I got him something big, he wanted to make sure to get me something big. I told him I don't care what you get me, it's the thought that counts! I even hinted that I would love a month of unlimited back massages! To which he replied, "Yeah right." (He HATES giving back massages, but I luv 'em!) Well on Easter morning I wake up to a cute little Easter basket with some candy in it and FIVE coupons that read:

Ben's Back Massages Inc.

This coupon is good for one back massage given at any time by the massage master himself, Ben Barney.*

*Void where prohibited. Back massages will not be given during special sporting events. Special sporting events will be determined by Ben Barney.

Gotta luv my husband!

SPRING BREAK

So my spring break was not too eventful this year! Since it is tax season, I had to work a deal with my boss...if I worked 10 hours each day on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday; then I could have Thursday and Friday off. And let me tell you, sitting for ten hours straight doing taxes ALL DAY is not very fun! I survived though. On Thursday morning I had a "phone interview" with SRP (YAY!) and then I headed up to Winslow to watch my sisters' softball tournament. (My parents coach also) That night I stayed in SJ and then headed back over to Winslow, but this time Naomi came with me! We had so much fun (or at least I thought so!) Except for that DANG wind! The girls did well in their tourament, I believe they took 7th out of 18? The best win was against Mogollon!! And I'm a bad sister because somehow I only took pics of Alissa? Not sure how that happened, I could have sworn I took some of Ash! That Friday night Naomi and I headed to the valley. We stopped and shopped at those outlet stores in Anthem and then went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse! It was fun having her stay with us, and I'm sad it wasn't longer! Now its back to life, and I'm SO sick of school! Almost done though!

UPDATE!

So for the first bit of news, Ben's brother Richard recently left for the MTC in Guatemala. The pic was actually taken in front of the MTC in Quatemala of all the boys who arrived that day. For those of you who don't know Richard, he is the one farthest to the right (the blonde one). We are very proud of him and know he is going to do so well!

For the second bit of news, we finally got some furniture in our bedroom! YAY!

For the third bit of news, Ben & I decided to start doing some stuff to our front and back yards. So on Saturday I planted all kinds of little flowers, tulips, two rose bushes, and some funky tropical thing. And Ben extended our drip system so that it reached all the new flowers. Ben is planning to build a porch swing for us too! We are still debating whether we want grass in the back yard or not.
For the fourth bit of news, Ben will have his Associate's Degree in Computer Networking by the end of this week! YAY! Now it's onto the Bachelor's program! :) Some other news on Ben is that he got called to be the "4th Sunday" teacher in Elder's Quorm.

Other than that, I got thru my midterms (barely!) and my Spring Break is next week. YAY! No plans yet, but I'm sure I'll make some! :)

Ashley Chrystine Frazier

(I didn't have a pic of just Ashley on my work computer, so I thought this one would do!)

Okay, I know, I don't think I have ever done two posts in one day, but I forgot to do a post about my sister's birthday! This year I am going to write about each one of my family members when they have a birthday, so just be prepared!

1. She was born on February 20, 1991 in Fountain Valley, CA. (just turned 17!)
2. She LOVES to kneeboard and will kick anyone's butt in a kneeboard war!

3. She loves kids...I swear she is going to have ten. (And kids love her!)

4. She wants to be a nurse when she's older.

5. She was born with her hips out of their sockets and had to go thru many surgeries as a kid (in full body casts!) These trials have made her a very strong person and I am very proud of what she has accomplished so far.

6. Although she does have blonde moments, she is very smart, especially in math.

7. She loves dogs...I swear she is going to have ten of those too.

8. Deep down, she has a kind heart.

9. She is a CrAzY driver!
10. Although I might not always show it, I do love her lots!

Valentine's Day <3

Well since our lives are pretty much boring with school and work, I figured I would do a post about my lovely husband. Some people do not like Valentine's Day due to its commerciality. WELL, I love it because it actually makes (or highly encourages) couples to do nice things for each other! On this particular Valentine's Day Ben had flowers delivered to my work and when I got home he had the cutest little set-up (see pic below!) He had MORE roses, sparkling cider, chocolates, and rose pedals on the table. Along with that, he had made me the yummiest dinner ever! (Chimis!) I loved it all! In case any of you are wondering, I bought Ben a new cell phone for V-Day, but the brat snooped and found out early so I just gave it to him then.
