our visit to see aunt ashee! plus a visit from grampa!

Ben decided to help some people hunt that had trophy elk tags up by Flagstaff. So I decided it was the perfect opportunity to go visit ashley at NAU! We started out the night by eating at Outback Steakhouse (where she works:)

then we went to mall for some shopping and ended up with four pairs of shoes! one for me, one for ash, and two for allyson!

arent they adoreable?! we got her a black pair and a white pair:)

then we went to the late show at the movies! (hence why this pic was taken at midnight!)

we stayed with her in her apartment dorm thing, ate breakfast together, and then it was already time to go meet back up with Ben:(

and the night before we left to flag, my daddy took us out to eat! we love that he gets to come down and visit so often with his work schedule:)

First haircut!

The other day while we were hanging out with aunt bailey, I told her how allyson really needed a haircut but that I didn't have good scissors to do it. So then I thought DUH! and I had bailey do it right then! so she got her first haircut (she had a rooster tail!) at 5 1/2 months old! here is a cell phone shot:)

Apache County Fair 2010

We started off the weekend by stopping in Snowflake to watch Eli's freshman football game! the boys played great! Way to go E!

she was more interested in eating her clothes...

then it was onto the 4-H shows! Allyson only got a LITTLE attention from her aunties:)

Eli actually won grand champion junior showman for his steer and reserve champion junior showman for his pig, so he was able to compete in the round robin showmanship round where he had to show a goat...(the goat round was HILARIOUS to watch cuz he had no clue what he was doing! haha)

and a pig! he did REALLY well and I personally thought he should have won, but he got robbed! oh well, good job buddy! (side note: he was trying SO hard to win because my dad told him he would pay him $200 bucks if he won! $100 for winning and $100 to give him the buckle. he was so close!)

then the rest of the time was filled with fair food, a rodeo, fair food, a Mogollon concert, fair food, walking around the fair exhibits, and lots more FAIR FOOD! it was sooo yummy! good thing it only comes once a year!

and on one of the nights, aunt ashee decided to have a photoshoot with Allyson and uncle E's hat. haha...so funny!

Allyson's first teeth

Right about 4 months old, Allyson's first teeth broke thru (early teether I know!) And now you can see them quite well when she smiles:) Someone please stop my baby girl from growing up! :(

In other news, we FINALLY started decorating her room!

She is a very happy girl and keeps me smiling all day long:)

this picture has a great story: one night while I was out at the store, Ben could not get her to stop fussing. Well, he knew she liked looking at the fish, so he pulled up the piano bench and Bumbo seat and sat her right in front of it. She immediately stopped crying and just stared. It kept her occupied for an HOUR! (she will do the same thing while looking at the doggies thru the back window too) Needless to say, we have found ourselves a babysitter! haha!

The Wayne Barney Reunion 2010

We were supposed to go camping over Labor Day weekend for the Barney reunion, but our plans changed when Ben's dad went to the hospital for a ruptured appendix! :( he had to stay in the hospital for about 4-5 days and was too weak to go camping, so everyone decided to just hang out in Prescott. We had fun just hanging out and eating with each other:) Everyone kept making fun of me because I was taking so many pics, but I got a new camera, so it was fun! I took about 200 over the course of the weekend, so this is really condensed! haha!
