Maribel's Wedding
Last weekend we were able to attend my friend Maribel's wedding:) She looked gorgeous! It was a beautiful ceremony and lots of fun! Congrats to Maribel & Saul!

the bouncer
i just love my little girl. she gets more fun everyday! i believe she is a bit of an adreneline junky...she LOVES being thrown HIGH in the air. well, recently she discovered that she can bounce HERSELF high in the air in her bouncer. all you have to say to her is "bouncy bouncy bouncy!" and she jumps all crazy-like. SO funny to watch! (and yes, I am sure that every kid performs this act at some point, but its just so much more fun to watch when its your own kid:) I just love her to pieces:)

allyson marie is 6 months old
allyson got her 6 month shots today. it is always so sad:( but you gotta get em! anyways, the doc said she looks good and healthy! she weighed in at 16 pounds (50th percentile) and is 27 inches tall (90th percentile)! so she is average on the weight, but her heighth makes her looks skinny. here are some 6 month facts about my little girl:
*loves to stand up while being held
*her morning ritual is to roll around the living room floor squeeling loudly (happy squeels:)
*will only eat the orange baby foods (sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash). i have tried bananas, apple sauce, and cereal and she won't eat them
*does not crawl yet, but can roll and scoot to wherever she is wanting to go (just takes her a while to get there!)
*loves her doggies and fish
*loves to blow bubbles, especially during church when everyone else is quiet!
*will chew on anything and everything (i believe she has more teeth coming in)
*refuses to take a bottle, pacifier, or sippy cup...so nursing it is! (for now at least)
*loves to play the piano (aka sit in her bumbo and bang on the keys)
*thinks its funny to splish-splash all over the place while taking a bath
*can sit up on her own if she concentrates, but is usually too lazy to try (or too distracted by something on the floor!)
*makes cheesy grins when i pull my phone out to take a pic
*she is a spunky little wild child and i love her more than anything:)
