**Allyson was the same length at 6 months but only weighed 16 pounds

*chews on anything and everything (she had her first two teeth pop thru on the bottom)

*smiles sooooo easily!

*still loves her baths the best

*loves to sit in the bumbo

*will tolerate tummy time now but only if someone is there playing with her

*still sleeps pretty good at night but her naps have become nonexistent lately

*still trying to figure out how to swallow (I just started introducing baby food and cereal a week ago)

*no crawling yet but will roll across the room to get where she wants

*thinks she needs to be held ALL the time (spoiled rotten!)

*likes to stand up when being held

*spits out pacifiers and replaces with her thumb!

*a little wiggle worm - kicks her legs all day long

*still loves her carseat (yay!)

Can I just say that I canNOT believe she is 6 months?! Part of me wants her to just stay little and the other part of me wants her to hurry up and get big enough to play with Allyson! So I am just enjoying the ride:)

Labor Day Weekend 2012!

My family used to ALWAYS go camping on Labor Day weekend....whether it was in the mountains, or at the lake, we camped. And we hadn't gone camping in forever so I asked my dad if we could go to the mountains this year. So we did! And I loved it. Allyson loved it most! The entire ride home she kept telling us she wanted to go "pamping" and "find the elk". It made me kind of sad because this was the first time I had been to the mountains since the fire. SO much is burnt! Including my family's normal camping spot:( It just breaks my heart. At least, there are still some nice parts:) We left to SJ on Thursday night, Ben and my dad went scouting for antelope/archery deer hunting Friday morning, and then we headed up to the mountains midday. We came into Round Valley Friday evening to watch Eli's football game and then headed back up to the mountains that night. And then we headed back to SJ around 11am on Saturday to attend my great gramma's funeral which started at 2pm. After that we headed BACK up to the mountains and spent Saturday night up there, and all day Sunday (however my crazy parents went BACK to SJ early Sunday morning to attend some church meetings!) Then on Monday morning, we headed back to SJ after breakfast because my siblings had to get their 4-H steers trimmed! whew! SO much driving back and forth but it was worth it:) We had beautiful weather and a great time!
