a nice getaway to Rocky Point!

My mother-in-law Capri planned a family trip to Rocky Point to celebrate everyone's birthdays this year! I was VERY weary about going there because Mexico just makes me nervous but we were totally fine and I never felt unsafe. It was seriously one of the most relaxing vacations! We rented a house right on the beach, so we had our own private beach which was AWESOME! And the food was yummy and cheap. And I loved that we went in November (we moved to Prescott the first weekend and went to Mexico the second weekend!) because it gave us a slice of summer in the winter:)

Taking a leap of faith...

On July 29th, Ben quit his job at GCU...a business opportunity was presented to us and we decided to take a leap of faith! We put our house on the market, with hopes that it would sell quickly but wouldn't ya know, we didn't up end selling it until November! And during that 3-4 month timeframe, Ben was up training with his business partner Monday thru Friday each week. Being a "single mom" was NOT fun! I am SO glad that we are finally a family again! We are now living in Prescott Valley, renting a house. We just opened escrow this week to purchase a nice two-acre piece of land in northern Prescott Valley and plan to build our dream home within the year...I am SO excited! We are starting our own Screenmobile business in the Prescott area (along with our taxidermy business). Ben is so glad to be back up here and I think I am really going to like it as well. It was harder than I thought to say goodbye to our beautiful Chandler home. It's funny how quickly you get attached to your home! But I know this change is good and that we will be happier here. I am not one to take risks, but I know that these businesses will pay off in the end. Pray for us!
