I got a sweet new camera for my birthday so I tested it out on Allyson...nothing fancy (no background or touch ups) but the pics are nice!

I gave her a piece of licorice to suck on and she went to town! She LOVED it and got it EVERYWHERE!

Grandpa & Grandma Crosby's 50th Wedding Anniversary:)

My aunts and uncles threw a big shin-dig for the grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. As you can see on the invite (which looks saa-weet!), it was a surprise party which made it so much more fun! We had great attendance and everything turned out so nice:)

I had to post a couple pics showing how green it is up there right now. SO pretty! Makes the drive so much more enjoyable:)

Allyson's 4 month stats

Allyson got her 4 month shots yesterday. SO sad! Aunt Ashee was with us and it even made her cry! :( Here are her stats:

Weight: 14 pounds 2 ounces (60th percentile)

Height: 26 inches (90th percentile)

So we have a tall and skinny little girl! She is such a happy baby...hardly ever cries (only when she's tired or hungry!) she LOVES to suck on her fingers (usually her thumb). she doesn't like to be held but she wants your attention. her favorite thing to do is lie on the couch with someone talkin to her. she likes to stand up when you are holding her on your lap. she can rollover like a champ now. loves the water. smiles at everyone. i could go on and on...she is just so much fun and we love her:)

Happy 4th Anniversary Babe!

I can't believe we have been married four years. Time just flies! I love Benjamin Arden Barney. He makes me smile every day:)

Looking back at wedding pics is always a little depressing because I always know that I will never again look that good! haha

Roosevelt 2010

My family goes to Roosevelt Lake every year during the summer. And boy is it a blast! There is nothing better than relaxing on the lake all day, coming home to an air-conditioned house, taking a shower, eating yummy food, and then playing ping pong and card games into the late hours of the night! Can't wait till next year!

Small side note: this year we almost sunk my dad's boat because we did not put the center plug in the boat (none of us knew there was a plug in the engine comparment). But thank goodness for cell phones! After Ben swimming to shore to get help, Jason pulling the boat to shore, Ashley floating in the water with all the coolers, me freaking out and pulling a muscle, and Allyson sleeping through it all, we finally got my dad on the phone and he was able to tell us what was wrong. I knew it was the plug, I just didn't know where it was! It is funny looking back at it now because it was pure pandimonium (including hearing my mom yelling from the SHORE!) but it sure was a helpless and scary feeling! I am just glad everyone is safe, including the boat:)
